Ahmadiyya Religion in Pakistan



according last pakistan census, ahmadi made 0.22% of population, however, ahmadiyya community boycotted census. independent groups estimate population somewhere between 2 , 5 million ahmadis. in media reports, 4 million commonly cited figure.


in 1974, government of pakistan amended constitution of pakistan define muslim according qu ran 33:40, person believes in finality of prophet muhammad. ahmadis believe in muhammad best , last law bearing prophet , mirza ghulam ahmad messiah of muslims. consequently, ahmadis declared non-muslims parliamentary tribunal.
