it announced advent of imām hassan ii. in show of imāmate , emphasize interior meaning (the batin) on exterior meaning (the zahir), imam hasan announced qiyamah (spiritual resurrection) - beginning of new era in spiritual meaning of religious law revealed , practiced openly. prayed mecca, did rest of congregation, prayed behind him, , ordered community break ramadan fasting feast @ noon. made speech saying imam had brought murids qiyamah shariah.


afterwards descendants ruled imāms @ alamut until destruction mongols.
