a spirometer main piece of equipment used basic pulmonary function tests (pfts). lung diseases such asthma, bronchitis, , emphysema can ruled out tests. in addition, spirometer used finding cause of shortness of breath, assessing effect of contaminants on lung function, effect of medication, , evaluating progress disease treatment.
