the philippines national disaster risk reduction , management council (ndrrmc) has provided 22.3 million pesos (us $480,000) worth of assistance of october 21. on october 18, australia first foreign government offer support typhoon relief. on 22 october australian foreign minister julie bishop announced $1 million in support families affected typhoon.


a state of calamity declared provinces of aurora, cagayan, isabela, nueva ecija, nueva vizcaya, tarlac, pangasinan, quirino, 3 cities namely dagupan, ilagan , tuguegarao, , 9 towns arayat, baler, cabatuan, calumpit, camiling, general nakar, infanta, ramos , sugpon owing widespread flooding.

due typhoon s destructive effects in philippines, name koppu retired @ fourth joint session of escap/wmo typhoon committee , wmo/escap panel on tropical cyclones during 2016. on february 2017, chose name koguma replace koppu.. pagasa announced lando removed naming lists , never used again. replacement name liwayway 2019 season.
