on 22 november 2010, canadian labour international film festival partnered equal pay coalition, maple pictures corp., cupe-ontario, machinists union, ontario federation of labour (ofl) , steelworkers local 1998 special pre-screening of made in dagenham, uplifting film based on true accounts of group of extraordinary women who, in 1968, in dagenham, united kingdom, found voice through humour, common sense , courage fight equal pay , put end sexual discrimination. film screened @ isabel bader theatre 93 charles street west in toronto.

on 25 november 2010 @ joint ontario federation of labour (ofl) , ontario network of injured workers health & safety , wcb conference @ sheraton centre toronto hotel in toronto, canadian labour international film festival handed out cliff/whsc health , safety award. conference gathering place health & safety injured workers activists throughout ontario. event saw award go aisha gazdar of pakistan film silent voices: home-based women workers in pakistan. audience treated debut of film power moral, history of injured workers in ontario. made injured workers history project , coordinated robert storey, professor of labour history mcmaster university in hamilton, ontario. special event saw screening of work (in progress) chavisa, life of injured worker seen through challenges, both personal , bureaucratic.

in november 2012, frank saptel awarded inaugural min sook lee labour activist award mayworks: festival of working people , arts. saptel accepted on behalf of other board members , location coordinators , volunteers.
