bruno 
a strong , ambitious thief. not bright, has gathered fame bandit on years. currently, bruno 38 years old. wields sword of truth, magical sword located in caves beneath mt.grislydeth in land of maliceria, according milo, according bruno sword not rare. instead mass-produced in factories of asuton. (even though bruno s sword of truth not rare, still lethal weapon , has digital alarm clock.)


fiona 
bruno s sidekick. micro-dragon, tricked bruno becoming boss. acts conscience/brain of bruno, betray him own benefit on opportunity. there s running gag fiona mistakenly gets referred baby dragon, annoys her.


maledict 
an evil wizard, 1 of bruno s many foes. however, since bruno not good, have allied (and betrayed each other) many times in strip. in fact, bruno meets fiona first time during mission maledict.


eunyce 
bruno s mother. warrior hottie in youth. time time, dons old outfit son. think xena, warrior princess...sixty years old.


ambrose 
bruno s father. bandit until recently. lost arm somehow, hasn t been explained in online strip archives. however, know had both arms while bruno 17 years old. reason why explained in bonus story in 1 of printed books. married eunyce. bad son, not stupid. has wife put old warrior outfit on in order relive old times. lack of arm joke – one-armed bandit.


constable oswold 
bruno s least favorite representative of elite rothland imperial guard. rothland s above-ground institutions hobble ineffective , corrupt laws , regulations. oswold s narrow-minded focus on obeying law prevents him dealing simplest of petty crimes, committed right under nose.


the fame vampires 
beautiful, undead, talented creatures life energy depends on constant adulation of fans. if lose fan-base, , if number of cameras on them reduces zero, dissolve grey powder. can reconstituted, utterance of correct punch-line, normal human, häzbin, warrior hottie, stage mother, or fame vulture. latter crave infamy, , life energy depends on continuous tabloid-oriented scandal , public opprobrium.


demons
