the atlantic coast conference sponsors championship competition in thirteen men s , fourteen women s ncaa-sanctioned sports. added sport fencing, added 2014–15 school year after having been absent conference since 1980; boston college, duke, north carolina, , notre dame participate in sport.

* notre dame sponsors football independent. although notre dame has commitment play 5 games per year against acc football teams, not participate in acc football standings , not eligible acc football championship. notre dame does, however, have access acc s bowl lineup aside orange bowl, has own arrangement access.


^ miami participates in diving only. purposes of chart, miami men s diving counted sponsoring half of sport of men s swimming & diving.
