asian college founded asian institute of electronics (aie) in 1972 dr. constancio a. sia , wife, gloria durano-sia. within 15 years, managed expand campuses outside metro manila. baliuag branch opened in 1988, followed dumaguete city in 1991, , cagayan de oro city in 1994. in succeeding years, managed open other campuses in different locations across country on: novaliches, caloocan, , alabang in national capital region; masinag , antipolo in region 4; , cabanatuan in region 3. 6 (6) franchised campuses subsequently established, namely carriedo, manila , mandaluyong in national capital region; sta maria, bulacan , pampanga in region 3; calamba, laguna in region 4 , sorsogon in region 5.


in june 1995, aie accredited then-decs (department of education culture , sports), full-pledged college, change in name asian college of science , technology (acsat).


in 2012, board of trustees decided change short name of school “asian college” emphasize institution not merely cater on science , technology courses alone, focused on developing professionals in fields of business , management.
