first seasons

on 5 may 1979, cobresal officially founded amateur club, luis sugarret first president.the club began play friendly matches in preparation first game of club against professional team. on 14 june, club played first match of history against incabus of diego de almagro, debuting 3–2 win, playing in august of year against professional team of coquimbo unido, cobresal drew 3–3, playing of form. on 14 december 1979, cobresal postulated national association of professional football play in second division. necessary club deportivo hospital, club of el salvador, mining camp of atacama region, offered affiliation anfa. finally, on 26 february 1980, incorporation of cobresal confirmed second division professional team.
