the 12 campus buildings connected central pedestrian plaza , internal courtyards. 228-acre (92.3 ha) campus serves degree seeking students participants of ages coming noncredit classes , community events, seeing play, learning dance, mastering computer or of dozens of special programs children , senior adults. school not provide certification lenders providing secondary/alternative education loans.

st. charles community college earned tree campus usa recognition national arbor day foundation dedication campus forestry management , environmental stewardship in 2010. scc 1 of first 3 colleges tree campus usa–certified in state of missouri. scc home more 2,000 trees, 30 of planted fall of 2011 in tree planting ceremony hosted scc tree advisory committee.

a collaborative initiative lindenwood university helped launch new lu/scc center nursing , allied health sciences located @ #1 academy place in dardenne prairie, former site of barat academy, 69,000-square-foot building purchased lindenwood in september 2012. lindenwood , scc signed collaborative initiative in march 2013 , scc leasing approximately 26,000 square feet of space, including space state-of-the-art virtual hospital. ribbon cutting ceremony held in august 2013 , new center houses scc associate degree nursing program, practical nursing, occupational therapy assistant, health information technology , health occupations programs.

on main campus, construction of .67-mile walking , biking trail completed great rivers greenway in fall of 2013 part of dardenne greenway, linking trails legacy park in cottleville woodlands sports park , rabbit run park in st. peters.
