roath park recreation ground, towards southern end of park, contains sports pitches available many different activities such football, baseball , rugby union. high quality bowling greens , tennis courts provided in central section of park, pleasure gardens. there rowing boats can hired out , used on lake. lake home local radio-controlled boat society , used coarse fishing throughout year. there 2 equipped playgrounds.
