otey met wife, singer-songwriter miss amy, , began playing in jazz, folk , rock bands together. after birth of son in mid-1990s family moved new jersey, , miss amy began focusing on children s music, of sort children move , exercise.


alex otey produced, co-wrote, , helped arrange miss amy s first album, swimming, , handles trumpet, keyboard, , backup vocals in miss amy & big kids band, founded in 2004. along band performed @ white house 2010 egg roll event, other performers included justin bieber, j.k. rowling, , cast glee. , miss amy & big kids band headlined kidstock 2010.


he has produced 5 albums miss amy since 2004, handling, example, collaborative arranging, engineering, production, keyboard, trumpet , back-up vocals on 2011 s miss amy’s fitness rock , roll, blended jazz, rock, pop, broadway, , lullabies.
