after regular season has ended, 2 lowest ranked teams in 2015–16 get-ligaen , 2 highest ranked teams in first division competed right play in 2016–17 get-ligaen. tournament organized according double round robin format, each club played others twice, home , away, total of 6 games. points system , ranking method used, same in regular season.
