the dialect spoken in luri-i buzurg (greater lur) closely related persian. dialect spoken inhabitants of bakhtiari, kuh-gilu-boir ahmed, in north , east of khuzistan, in mamasani district of fars, , in areas of bushehr province.
the dialect spoken in lur-i-kuchek (lesser lor) closely related southern kurdish, has similarities persian. dialect spoken in luristan, several districts of hamadan (malayer, nahavand, towisarkan) , inhabitants of south , southwest ilam , northern part of khuzestan province.
there third group of luri people speak northern lurish; ethnically part of lur-e-kuchak, dialectically part of lur-e-bozorg.
