nightmask reveals true name upon tamara devoux (the current captain universe) deciphering language, , reveals universe dying, , white event coming. afterwards, strange lightning hits earth. nightmask accompanies captain universe , avengers ruins of college encounter college student transformed star brand. nightmask , star brand head mars confront ex nihilo. avengers fight against nightmask , star brand results in nightmask , star brand destroying living consciousness of earth. iron man imprisons them in sol s hammer weapon.
