biography
education

before second world war, przespolewski had art education @ academy of fine arts in kraków, teachers included stefan filipkiewicz (1931) , władysław jarocki (1932). went on study @ kunstgewerbeschule @ vienna, art school rejected adolf hitler 20 years earlier, , in paris , in poznań, poland.


world war ii

after leaving poland in 1939 , short period in france in 1940, przespolewski moved united kingdom, stationed time polish armed forces in west in biggar, scotland.


in scotland, met józef sękalski , roberta hodges in st andrews, fife. @ studio in attic of bell rock house, painted number of portraits, nudes, still lives , landscapes. 1944 onwards 1 of polish combatants in 1st polish armoured division , advanced normandy wilhelmshaven in may 1945.

after war

in 1949 married belgian-dutch artist jeanne prisse (1921–2008). moved salford (near manchester, england) had number of odd jobs , appointments designer ceramic industries. later moved ulvenhout, netherlands. here had own studio painted, made various designs theatre décors , produced pottery. place taught art small groups of pupils.
