suspended routes
following re-opening of 15-mile (24 km) antrim – bleach green line in june 2001, had been closed since 1978, nir ceased passenger operations between lisburn , antrim on 29 june 2003. combined new dargan bridge across river lagan in belfast, bleach green route offered faster journeys between derry, coleraine, ballymena, antrim , belfast.
the lisburn-antrim railway line still maintained, , occasional crew training operations performed. while available diversionary route, knockmore, ballinderry, glenavy , crumlin stations have closed.
