ofk beograd s fans commonly known plava unija (the blue union) since 1994. when beogradski sportski klub (bsk) founded in 1911, club dominated fields of kingdom of serbs, croats , slovenes developed significant fan base. throughout several wars took place since founding of bsk, club s turbulent history (which corresponding volatile history of balkans overall) has produced adverse effects on average attendance of today s matches in ofk beograd plays.


an organized group appeared first time in 1984 under name of blue thunders . group lived under name until 1990. when influenced rise of nationalism in yugoslavia, change name sokolovi (the falcons). group officially collapsed in 1993 year after un sanctions put on fr yugoslavia. fans love towards club not forgotten , in 1994 new group founded – blue union belgrade. name remains title of ofk beograd s main group of ultras.


ofk beograd s fans have been known resistant of past regimes. in 1990s, milicionar, pro-regime police-backed team, entered first division. when ofk beograd first played against them, ofk fans reacted creation of banner bore message goal against regime . among other things, members of plava unija reinstated old ex-yugoslav firms habit of finding local home crews when our team on away matches, no matter serbian town or city in question.


plava unija fostered friendship voždovac s fans, invalidi while club still played in yugoslavia s second tier 1996 1998. friendship still remains day. ofk beograd known supported fans of dynamo moscow.
