the game become super 3d noah s ark conceived licensed game based on movie hellraiser, movie wisdom tree founder dan lawton great fan of. wisdom tree acquired game rights hellraiser $50,000, along license use wolfenstein 3d game engine id software, believing fast, violent action of wolfenstein match mood of film. development began on nintendo entertainment system, wisdom tree intending ship game on special cartridge came equipped co-processor increase system s ram , processing speed several times over.
