French military Salute

the french military salutes demonstrate mark of respect, fraternity , courtesy soldiers ; subalterns salute superiors , every salute given back. salutes not performed if member not wearing headdress or if holding weapon. french salute, original template, performed flat hand, palm facing forwards; upper arm horizontal , tip of fingers come near corner of eyes. mirrors gesture made when knights greeted each other show friendly intentions raising visors show faces. crisp tension may given when salute broken.
