minguijón served head of history of law in zaragoza following quarter of century, position in national realm of jurisprudence scholars enhanced following publication of series of textbooks in 1910s , major work, historia del derecho español, issued in 1927. since mid-1910s being invited jury member in contests academic chairs, held across spain. in 1930s distinguished law academic, known beyond scientific milieu numerous press contributions. minguijón s juridical career crowned in 1933, when elected academic nominee tribunal de garantías constitucionales, spanish constitutional court. year marked departure zaragoza; had abandon university chair new job required presence in madrid.
