juno first presents set number of enemies per level, not make gallery formation. instead, player s ship can move forward , backward (in addition left , right) hunt enemies in orientation vertical, has horizon-oriented tilt. style of gameplay re-used in later konami shooter, axelay.
the player destroys waves of enemies finish levels. starting formations vary stage stage. in addition, player can pick humanoid, upon screen have red tint. while happens, every enemy player shoots earn player 200 more points previous enemy destroyed. original score shooting enemy while in humanoid mode depends on stage.
