student senate

the student senate official student governing body of scc , serves advocate interests of scc students presenting concerns , issues college board of trustees. senators chosen both general election , appointment procedures. senate meetings held twice monthly: first , third tuesdays of every month. student senate encourages students attend senate meetings voice ideas, concerns , suggestions.


activities

there more 30 student organized clubs offered through student activities office @ scc. student activities office provides place students gather air hockey, foosball , pool tables, recreational computers, tv lounge , conference room available students.


the st. charles community college quiz bowl team top community college @ division ii intercollegiate championship tournament hosted national academic quiz tournaments on april 10, 2010. team won community college championship tournament hosted naqt on february 27, 2010.


mascot

the mascot scc anthropomorphic cougar named scooter mccougar. scooter makes regular appearances @ campus celebrations , sporting events. scooter participates in social networking college.
