Air raids Australian home front during World War II



the japanese air force made 97 air raids against australia on 19-month period starting darwin in february 1942 until 1943. darwin area hit 64 times. horn island struck 9 times, broome , exmouth gulf 4 times, townsville , millingimbi 3 times, port hedland , wyndham twice , derby, drysdale, katherine, mossman, onslow, , port patterson once.
